User Creation & Access Rights
From Edge ERP
User creation and rights is an extremely powerful tool which allows the creation of users within the Edge system for the current company and define form wise rights as seen below. Rights can be given for each form to Create, View, Edit, Delete, Print, Post or All, as required per user. Reports, Alerts and Employee master tab rights can also be defined and controlled from here.

Add User
- Click on New
- Add Username
- Add Password
- Select Employee (Optional)
- Add Designation & Contact No
- Select/Unselect All, Create, View, Edit, Delete, Print & Post rights per Form listed on the Forms Tab, as required
- Select/Unselect All, Create, View, Edit, Delete, Print & Post rights per Report listed on the Reports Tab, as required
- Select/Unselect Alerts rights on Alerts Tab as required
- Select/Unselect Employee Master Tab rights from Employee Master Tabs Tab, as required
- Click on Save to save record

![]() | Save As Option is provided as quick way to add users. User Group templates can be saved and reused with this option to quickly create a new user with a pre-defined set of rights. |
Modify User
- Click on Edit
- Select User that you wish to edit from the Edit-Search Window
- Reset Password, if required
- Select Employee (Optional)
- Edit Designation & Contact No, if required
- Select/Unselect All, Create, View, Edit, Delete, Print & Post rights per Form listed on the Forms Tab, as required
- Select/Unselect All, Create, View, Edit, Delete, Print & Post rights per Report listed on the Reports Tab, as required
- Select/Unselect Alerts rights on Alerts Tab as required
- Select/Unselect Employee Master Tab rights from Employee Master Tabs Tab, as required
- Click on Save to save record
Delete User
- Click on Edit
- Select User that you wish to delete from the Edit-Search Window
- Click on Delete
- Confirm that you want to delete the User on prompt or cancel
